Setting off on the Thursday to catch the flight for my first ever out of the UK journey! went to Ireland as a kid at 12 other than that not left the UK so this was a experience for sure!, Anyways onto Friday, starting the morning of with a loss in the first round to a solid performance already had me battling my own demon's after struggling with the wires for a while it didn't change as i really was all around it just wasn't enough to get me through losing in a last leg shoot out.

Event 2 a slightly better performance but still the wires were not the only thing i was battling, my head was a mess and I was smashing my own confidence with every throw I did but a last 64 saw me collect a few quid to ease the blow!

Event 3 going into Saturday i needed to improve and i did although again I was all around the trebles but just couldn't capitalise what to ever but i scrapped a win and saw me into the last 128, then I struggled but somehow i managed to make it through the the last 64 again collecting some much needed cash to move up the ranking within the order of merit! into the second event of the day I made a last 32 being pummelled by my good mate in Chas Barstow 5-3 where a mix of trebles less visits and missed doubles were being punished by Chas and he the deserved winner went on to the next round.

Event 4 on the Saturday i was out in the last 128, a game that perhaps i should of won but i just fell sleep at the crucial moments and couldnt hit the doubles :( so on we went to the best steak house around, 10/10 for the food it was INCREDIBLE!

Sunday was the last event of the weekend a lucky bye put me straight into the last 128so won game then it was board final for me which was a scrappy to say the least but i got over the line and lined me up for a battle with my mate Aiden Kirk, a lot of missed doubles from me which could of seen me 4-0 up I was 4-1 down but i managed to scrape a leg back but Aiden's finished was absolutely clinical and fair play he deserved that game and his form continued deeper into the event.
